Information for Students and Educators
Since its founding in 1890, the Daughters of the American Revolution has promoted historic preservation, education, and patriotism in communities across the nation. DAR has so much to offer to the educational community. Examples include essay contests, educational materials, youth programs, scholarships, and awards.
The Annis Avery Hill Chapter NSDAR works with local schools to encourage historical studies and patriotism.
We were at the 2025 Holiday Folk-Fair educating children and adults with posters, pamphlets, and hand outs.
